I consider this one to be the best drawing app for iPhone/iPod Ive used, and I tried quite a few. Even more fun to use than "Brushes", witch now becomes my second best. Having layers did the trick for me, so did the selection of brushes and the high quality export. Also, having the brushes and color panel tabbed is a time saver, and the recall of the tools with a shake (even very small) of the iPod while drawing integrates well in my workflow; more so than having that shake make an undo. I never tought I could make a 7 by 7 in., 300 dpi photoshop file with 5 layers on my iPod. Last but certainly not least, it runs very smoothly on my 1st gen iPod Touch. Strokes smoothness are comparable to what I get from "Brushes" app, and "Layers" app is over all very responsive.
